About Truth Laced with Hemlock

Welcome to Truth Laced with Hemlock—a space for dissecting culture with clarity, eloquence, and a little sting.

This is not a safe space. It’s a sacred one—for nuance, confrontation, and the kind of honesty that makes people squirm. I write about the hidden mechanics of power: the social games of gender and race, the ways intimacy is weaponised, and how the personal is always political.

Think of this as part cultural critique, part emotional autopsy, part manifesto.
Here, I don’t just call it out—I name it. I track the pattern. I explain the damage. I articulate the rage.

Because you already know what it feels like.
Now it’s time to know why.

🦋 Who Am I?

I’m a writer with the mind of a detective and the heart of a woman who’s had enough. I come from the literary world, but this space is where I take off the gloves. My training is in stories, but my obsession is in subtext—the things people do without knowing why, and the things they know but pretend not to.

I started Truth Laced with Hemlock because I was tired of watching women doubt what they see. Tired of being told we’re too emotional, too intense, too much. So here, I document the invisible. I say the quiet part with my whole chest. And I lace every truth with just enough venom to keep the predators nervous.

Sociocultural autopsies from a woman who sees too much and forgives too little. I write about power, performance, gender, race, and the quiet ways we lie to each other. Beautifully phrased. Fatally honest. Truth, laced with hemlock.
